 Lost Lake Trails
*** LOST LAKE CROSS COUNTRY’S SKI AND SNOWSHOE TRAILS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.** The Lost Lake Cross Country trail system offers over 32 kilometers of groomed and track set trails that meander through Lost Lake Park and throughout the Chateau Whistler and Nicklaus North golf courses. A cozy log hut perched on the shores of Lost Lake offers an ideal sheltered stop along the way. There is also an extensive network of snowshoe trails. It is a user-pay system with on-site services including washrooms, outhouses, trail maps and water/tissue stations. The Cross Country Connection at the Lost Lake trailhead (just across from the Lost Lake ticket booth) provides ski and snowshoe rentals, lessons and tours.
The trails are patrolled daily by more than 40 dedicated volunteers who donate their time and energy to help ensure skier safety and assist visitors.
To maintain the quality of the ski trails, pedestrians and dogs are not permitted in Lost Lake Park during the cross-country season. A portion of the multi-use Valley Trail from Meadow Park to Rainbow Park is track set for skiers with dogs, and the Whistler Golf Club is available for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or walking with your pet. Owners are responsible for knowing and abiding by the municipality's dog regulations.
