Purchasing Policy

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is dedicated to fair, honest, and open procurement that ensures respect for all parties involved.

The RMOW’s central services department is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, equipment, and services for various RMOW departments considering price, environmental accountability, quality, and service so Whistler taxpayers receive the best overall value.

The RMOW follows all relevant legislation, industry leading practices, and RMOW policies and procedures in procurement. In addition, central services staff follow the code of ethics of the Supply Chain Management Association.

RMOW Purchasing Policy

The RMOW Purchasing Policy provides guidelines for all municipal purchasing including equipment, materials, professional services and construction contracts and integrates sustainable purchasing goals.
