Whistler has a community vision to be the premier mountain resort community -as we move toward sustainability and the Whistler Olympic Plaza plays a key role in realizing that vision.

Whistler 2020, created in consultation with the community, outlines a vision for financial viability that respects the town’s natural environment and sense of community, which is why every event at the Whistler Olympic Plaza needs to be as sustainable as possible.

Whistler Olympic Plaza reflects both the community’s needs and its character. At first glance, it looks like a park, with a spectacular playground, lots of seating for parents and a Great Lawn that’s perfect for playing tag. Look around and the view becomes that a state-of-the-art outdoor performance facility with a dramatic mountain backdrop, right in the heart of dynamic Whistler Village.
