Facilities, Parks, Fields Rentals PDF Print E-mail

Whistler Parks and Recreation has a variety offacilities available for rent to meet your business or recreationalinterests. Rental rates are charged on a per hour basis and insuranceis required for most events. Insurance can be purchased through theWhistler Parks and recreation department or you may provide your own.

PLAY FIELDS

Meadow Park Ball Fields
Meadow Park ball fields are located behind the Meadow Park Sports Centre. This facility offers you an ideal location for your to
urnament, community recreation program, business and private functions.

The facility includes two ball diamonds. Located next to the ball diamonds is our fun family water park, and picnic areas located next to the River of Golden Dreams.

Spruce Grove Ball Fields
These ball fields are located next to the Spruce Grove Field House nestled in Spruce Grove Park just two kilometers north of Whistler Village. The fields are equipped with lights for evening play. This facility offers you an ideal location for your tournament, community recreation program, business and private functions.

This one-of-a-kind facility includes three ball fields, stadium lights for evening play, on-site concession (hours of operation may vary) and a stunning Spruce Grove Field House for a variety of functions.

Myrtle Philip Community Centre Play Fields
Myrtle Philip Community Centre play fields are located next to the Myrtle Philip Community Centre off of Lorimer Road. There are four play fields and one ball field.

Whistler Secondary School Community Fields
The play fields are located next to Whistler Secondary High School. This facility offers you an ideal location for your tournament, community recreation program, business and private function.

Booking the Fields
If you are interested in booking any of the above fields, please fill out the Park and Field Event Checklist and email it to Judith MacKenzie at jmackenzie at whistler.ca, or call Judith directly at 604-935-8467.

Whistler residents can register online beginning Sunday, August 15 at 12:01 a.m. or in person and by phone at 9 a.m. 

Non-Resident registration will begin online on Sunday, August 22 at 12:01 a.m. and in person and by phone at 9 a.m.

Whistler Parks and Recreation customers who have registered for a recreation program (including any members of their family) since January 1, 2008 have been cross-referenced with the July 2010 Whistler Residential Property Tax Roll.

Property owners can call 604-935-PLAY (7529) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to verify that their accounts have been updated in order to receive priority registration.

Local artists create unique images for the village light standard banners. Each series is displayed for two seasons, and then sold to the public. Revenue from banner sales contributes to future public art projects.
