Extend your fun!

Family Après starts on Monday, December 23, 2013 and runs until March 26, 2014. Bring the family for outdoor Canadian winter fun at Whistler Olympic Plaza. A variety of activities and entertainment are happening every week.

Bring Back Play Funmobile tour will be part of Family Après
January 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

To help reverse the decline of play, ParticipACTION created a national social change marketing campaign called Bring Back Play to rally and inspire parents and caregivers to motivate children to move more. Thanks to ParticipACTION's provincial partnership with the BC Ministry of Healthy, the campaign is co-branded with Healthy Families BC in British Columbia and includes the Bring Back Play Funmobile tour

Brought to you by ParticipACTION and Healthy Families BC, the Bring Back Play Funmobile tour brings a van full of fun games, activities and giveaways to parks, events and schools in B.C. communities from September 2, 2013 to August 2014.

Whistler Street Entertainment

Whistler Street Entertainment presented free, family-friendly events, attractions and performers on weekends from May through November in Whistler Village. Entertainment includes juggling acts, circus performers, musicians, bike stuntman, dancers and acrobats.

Whistler Presents: Winter Kick-Off

Location: Skier's Plaza

Street Entertainment and Outdoor Film Screening
6 to 8  p.m.
Meet at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in the Whistler Village to enjoy a free outdoor screening under the stars featuring a collection of the Whistler Film Festival's short films based on true stories about Whistler along with some of the top shorts from the festival. Or you can participate in an outdoor street hockey game, get your very own balloon toque or have photos taken with the beautiful animated characters. Make sure to dress for the weather.

The indoor family fun zone at the Whistler Conference Centre is unparalleled for indoor entertainment. Kids can enjoy a mini putt course, table games, bouncy castles, crafts and video games free. Parents can relax in the lounge area and enjoy a coffee or hot cocoa while the kids play.

The RMOW also allocated RMI funds to resort partners and programs including: Tourism Whistler, Whistler Chamber of Commerce, Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, Village Host, Whistler Arts Council, Whistler Film Festival, the Sea to Sky Trail project, as well as a variety of one-off or destination festivals and events.
