Citizens may be appointed by council in a voluntary capacity to committees to share their local knowledge, expertise and experience.

Current opportunities:

FOREST & WILDLAND ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER

Are you interested in advising the Resort Municipality of Whistler council on issues related to forestry, land use, and commercial and public recreation around Whistler?

There is a vacancy on the council-appointed Forest and Wildland Advisory Committee.

Qualifications:

  • A background in forestry, ecology, backcountry recreation or resource management; and
  • Knowledge of the Whistler area
