Whistler Dogfest

Since 1982, the goal of WAG has been to improve the lives of animals through education, advocacy, and medical care.  WAG has been rescuing, caring for, and finding new homes for lost, homeless, and unwanted animals.

What you will see at the Whistler Dog Festival;
Agility and Tricks by The K9 Incredibles
K9 and handler hand in paw with Paws to Dance                                                                                                                    Avalanche rescue dog training techniques by CARDA
Join in with Lisa Storoshenko and learn some basic dog first aid.    Participate in owner/dog Yoga!

Participate in our contests for best dressed dog and owner, and best Amateur Trick Contest
Prizes for:  Best dressed dog and owner and Amateur Trick Contest

 What’s going on!???

Dog Costume Contest

• Enter your WAG dog into the parade & qualify for the costume contest! Just visit the WAG booth between 10:00am - 12:45 pm to qualify. Or drop into the Shelter before the event during office hours.

 Find out what our dogs do!

• We will have performers providing strategic and exciting entertainment from 10:00 am – 4:00pm. You won’t believe what these dogs can do! Agility, Frisbee and Tricks by The K9 Incredibles and Freestyle Dance by Paws 2 Dance.  There will be exhibitors showing you what is available to keep your dog happy and safe in the sea to sky corridor.

Just for the Kids

• They will love the parade! Drop by the WAG booth the day of DogFest or drop by the shelter before to sign up.
• Digger our WAG Mascot will be around giving out some fun stuff!
