West end of Lorimer Road by the Church Monthly bird walks
On the first Saturday of each month, bird walks start at the west end of Lorimer Road near the entrance to Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. The walk proceeds along the Valley Trail to Rainbow Park, covering many different types of habitat. This walk is open to all interested in birds and also attracts birding experts who compile a detailed inventory list on year round bird activity.
