Selling to the RMOW
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is dedicated to conducting procurement fairly, honestly and openly ensuring respect for all parties involved.
The responsibility of the RMOW’s Central Services is to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services as needed by the various RMOW departments as economically as possible considering price, environmental accountability, quality and service so that Whistler taxpayers receive the best overall value.
This is accomplished by standardization and competitive bidding on the basis of adequate specifications whenever possible. In addition, Central Services manages the stores inventory, fleet management, and disposal of surplus materials and equipment.
The RMOW will do business with any individual or company that can provide us with goods and services that offer the best value.
The RMOW follows all relevant legislation, industry leading practices and policies and procedures in all procurement decision making.
In addition, Central Services follows the ethical codes of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
