Noise Bylaws

All film productions are subject to the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s (RMOW) Noise Bylaw No. 1660, 2004 and are therefore restricted to shooting between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

What happens if a production needs to film fireworks when it’s dark and that’s something that may not happen until 11 p.m on a summer night?

Exceptions may be granted depending on the specific needs of the shoot, consult the RMOW with the details of your particular situation.
