Recreation for people with disabilities

All Whistler Parks and Recreation facilities are designed with accessibility in mind.

Meadow Park Sports Centre
Located north of the Village, Whistler’s Meadow Park Sports Centre is home to an indoor kids pool, lap pool, hot tub, steam room, arena, fitness studio, weight room and squash courts. The following design modifications are in place to ensure the facility is accessible:

chairlift into lap pool
pool wheelchair
accessible showers and washrooms
rehabilitation hand ergometer in fitness centre
lift/elevator to fitness centre

Myrtle Philip, Whistler Secondary and Spring Creek community centres and the Spruce Grove Field House are wheelchair accessible.

Whistler residents can register online beginning Sunday, August 15 at 12:01 a.m. or in person and by phone at 9 a.m.

Non-Resident registration will begin online on Sunday, August 22 at 12:01 a.m. and in person and by phone at 9 a.m.

Whistler Parks and Recreation customers who have registered for a recreation program (including any members of their family) since January 1, 2008 have been cross-referenced with the July 2010 Whistler Residential Property Tax Roll.

Property owners can call 604-935-PLAY (7529) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to verify that their accounts have been updated in order to receive priority registration.
