ReUse It Centre
The ReUse It Centre, built by the Resort Municipality of Whistler and currently operated by Whistler Community Services Society, is Whistler's version of a general store with a community twist. Need a vacuum? A coffeemaker? A ski pole, skates or a pair of shorts? The ReUse It Centre is sure to have it: everything from men's, women's and children's clothing to toys, small appliances, books, DVDs, videos and vintage vinyl to sports gear, from baby furniture to art and artifacts to knick knacks to, well, you get the picture.
Items are donated and resold at rock bottom prices with proceeds supporting ongoing WCSS programs such as the food bank. This thrift store is located in Function Junction and is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Used items that are clean, and in good shape and working order are gratefully accepted during store hours.
The ReUse It Centre is located in Function Junction, the first right on Alpha Lake Road just off the highway.
