Spruce Grove sewer forcemain rupture – Update: October 2, 2012, 8 a.m.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) crews worked overnight to repair a ruptured forcemain near Fitzsimmons Walk. The repairs are now complete and holding.
The RMOW apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience during this repair.
Background:
On September 30, 2102, the RMOW was made aware of a sewer line failure along the edge of the Valley Trail near Fitzsimmons Walk.
Staff worked around the clock to the repair the sewer line.
Residents of Spruce Grove and to a lesser degree Alpine and Nicklaus North may have noticed the increased activity in their neighbourhoods due to the presence of pumping trucks. The RMOW apologizes for the inconvenience.
