The Finance department of the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) provides council, taxpayers, visitors and operating departments with leadership and resources for financial management.
The Finance department is responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the RMOW, as well as the Whistler 2020 Development Corporation and the Whistler Public Library. In addition, Financial Services is responsible for the monthly management reporting, and the annual reporting to auditors and various external agencies.
Finance also maintains the tax roll, 15,000 folios, and collects the bulk of our total revenues in the six-week period preceding the tax due date. For more information about RMOW Financial Services, contact 604-935-8123.
The Finance department is also responsible for fiscal planning and supports the formulation of the budgets of the RMOW and provides analysis to all departments and council to support financial decision making.
