Long Term Financial Plan
In 2009, a volunteer steering committee established by the RMOW updated the municipality's Long-Term Financial Plan, and replaced an earlier document, which was developed in 1999.
This committee included financial experts from external organizations, and RMOW council and senior staff representatives.
The 2009 Long-Term Financial Plan outlines a series of principles and policies to guide council and the organization in making decisions help Whistler address financial challenges, remain competitive, and achieve its vision of becoming a sustainable, world-class resort community.
