Garibaldi Park Management Plan Amendment
The Garibaldi Park Management Plan (GPMP) was first adopted in September 1990, and BC Parks is currently developing an amendment to address increased use and potential for year-round recreational infrastructure development in the study area (the Spearhead and Fitzsimmons mountain ranges).
At their council meeting on May 1, 2012, Whistler council directed staff to forward recommendations for amendments to the Garibaldi Park Management Plan to the Province, as pre-draft input for the plan.
