Accessible Parking
There are a number of accessible parking stalls in the Whistler Village Day Lots in close proximity to the pedestrian exits along Blackcomb Way.
Accessible spaces per Day Lot are currently as follows:
- Lot 1 - 5 spaces
- Lot 2 - 4 spaces
- Lot 3 - 6 spaces
- Lot 4 - 6 spaces
There are also a number of accessible parking spaces located throughout the Village and Marketplace, which are marked on Whistler’s Accessibility Map.
Parking Access Permits
Visitors can bring permits issued from their home community.
Residents can apply for a temporary or permanent Whistler Parking Access permit administered by the Social Planning and Research Council (SPARC) of BC.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) honours out-of-province and out-of-country disabled parking passes.
Disability Parking Passes
The Social Research and Planning Council (SPARC) of British Columbia issues disability parking permits for communities in the Lower Mainland and across BC.
Whistler residents can apply for a parking access permit from SPARC BC.
A doctor’s recommendation is required, and anyone with a permanent or temporary mobility impairment is eligible for a permit. People who need extra wide parking spaces to get in and out of their vehicle, or who cannot walk more than 100 meters, or who are legally blind are also eligible for a permit. Permits for permanent disabilities must be renewed every three years.
The RMOW honours out-of-province and out-of-Country permits. Visitors can apply for temporary access permits from SPARC BC.
