Get rolling in Whistler
Whistler is a bike-friendly community with trails for all types of riders from the paved 35-kilometre multi-use Valley Trail, which connects Whistler’s neighbourhoods, schools, and parks, to cross-country trails and technical singletrack.

Getting Around By Bicycle: The Basics
If you want to cycle, make sure your bike is in good shape, and invest in a helmet and a lock. Stay alert when cycling. Not all drivers give cyclists the right of way, even on bike paths. Wear reflective clothing and use flashing lights to make yourself more visible to drivers.
Bikes and Transit
Bike racks are installed on Whistler Transit System busses in mid-April, and removed in early November. The bike racks hold most wheel and frame sizes, but were not designed to hold tandem or motor-powered bikes.

Getting Here
You can bring your bike on the Greyhound bus from Vancouver to Whistler. There is a $10 charge and bikes are do not have to be boxed. Bikes are carried subject to space. Read more
Bikes are also permitted on the Pacific Coach/Skylynx service from the Vancouver Airport to Whistler. There is a limit on the number of bikes per departure, based on the number of passengers, the vehicle type, and other luggage to be transported. All bikes must be in a bike box or bag. There is a charge of $15.00 for regular size boxes and $25.00 for large boxes (the bike does not need to be disassembled).
Dirt Jump Park
The Whistler Dirt Jump Park, located between Rebagliati Park and the Whistler Village Skate Park, is almost 10 years old. In the summer of 2006, 20 new jumps were added for a total of over 50 jumps in the set, not including transfers. The majority of the jumps are gaps, but there is a progression with many rollers and tabletop jumps. A newly-installed irrigation system and lights have enhanced the park. The Dirt Jump Park is free and open daily (weather permitting).

Whistler Off Road Cycling Association (WORCA)
With more than a thousand members, WORCA is one of the biggest recreational and service organizations in Whistler and a key player in trail development. In addition to organizing the very popular Loonie bike races every Thursday from May through September, WORCA programs include trail maintenance and rider development. Visit the WORCA website.
