Calculate Your Commute:

Find out the most cost-effective way to get around in Whistler.  With one-year passes priced at $585, that's about $1.62 per day to ride the bus as many times as you need. Purchasing a monthly bus pass also entitles pass holders to a federal tax credit.

A general estimate of savings, BC Transit’s commuter calculator takes into account typical values for: gas, fuel efficiency, annual maintenance, tires, depreciation, and assumes that you are taking transit in place of your vehicle.  Factoring in the cost of parking, passes in Whistler's Day Lots and other municipal lots range from $30 per month for a six month pass, to $65 per month to park underground or $120 per month for a Gold Pass. The costs can be shared if you have three people in a registered ride-share pool.

If you are walking, cycling or commuting on your own power, your costs will be even lower.

Visit the BC Transit website for more information and calculate your actual commuting costs to find the best option to suit your needs.
