Whistler Transit “Open Bus” event
Join us next week for the Whistler Transit “Open Bus”! This event is an opportunity to learn about the Whistler Transit System and some exciting updates coming to our local transit, including:
- the new Fall Rider’s Guide (effective Tuesday, September 5);
- BusReady and Kids Ride Free programs;
- Umo – Electronic fare program;
- tips on how find to your bus in real time using NextBus; and
- future transit expansion plans.

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Seasonal service change
The Whistler Transit System is shifting into the Fall Rider’s Guide effective Tuesday, September 5.
Changes to service include:
- the end of free weekend transit (last day is Labour Day, Monday, September 4);
- increased service to Route 10 – Valley Express and Route 6 – Tapley’s Blueberry; and
- direct service to Alpine, Rainbow and Emerald
