Cross Country Skiing And Outdoor Recreation Licensee

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) invites qualified individuals or businesses to submit a proposal to operate as a cross country skiing and outdoor recreation concession licensee within the Lost Lake PassivHaus and Mons Ticket Booth locations, located at the main entrance to Lost Lake Park and at the Nicklaus North rail crossing respectively. RFP packages will be available by email starting October 27, 2021.

Recreation department staff will conduct an evaluation of the proposals. The selected proposal will be presented to Municipal Council for execution of legal agreements. Roger Weetman, Manager of Recreation Services, will conduct final negotiations and ratifications.

The licensee will operate and manage the day-to-day activities of the cross country skiing and outdoor recreation concession under the terms and conditions, as outlined in this request for proposal. The premises shall not be used for any other purpose other than the designated Recreation Concessionaire use and café use in the designated License areas under the LP1 zoning restrictions of the building.
