Flood Protection and Maintenance of Fitzsimmons Creek

The Resort Municipality of Whistler is inviting vendors who have qualified for the 2020-2021 RFSQ list to submit tenders for the 2021 Flood Protection and Maintenance of Fitzsimmons Creek project in Whistler, BC. The scope of work comprises the construction of:
• Gravel removal from Fitzsimmons Creek;
• Pre- and post-construction topographic survey;
• Gravel volume determination removed based on survey data; and
• Environmental protection during construction.

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published on the BC Bid website and the RMOW website. It is the sole responsibility of the Tenderer to monitor the website regularly to check for updates.

A non-compulsory tenderers site meeting will be held at 11:00hs, Monday, July 5th, 2021. Site address for meeting is the parking lot at municipal hall, 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler B.C. Allow for approximately two hours to allow for review of gravel bars proposed for gravel removal.

Addendum #1 was posted on July 8, 2021 - Addendum #1 clarifies survey requirements, provides a Q&A from the tenderers meeting and removes gravel bar 24 from the work with a revised schedule of quantities.

Addendum #2 was posted on July 9, 2021 - Addendum #2 extends the closing date to July 20, 2021. Closing time remains as 14:00.
