The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified consultants to provide flow monitoring services for the RMOW's 2018 Inflow Infiltration Program. The program is to include data collection, analysis and reporting of information from manhole and sanitary lift station locations. There will be the potential for the program to be expanded to additional locations at a later date and to include flow monitoring for stormwater infrastructure and in streams within Whistler. The successful Consultant will be expected to provide and maintain all necessary equipment to perform flow monitoring and data collection. The successful Consultant is also expected to have demonstrated experience in data analysis, confined space entry procedures and report production and presentation.
It is the intention of the RMOW to improve the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant and preserve the functional capacity of existing sewer infrastructure. The flow monitoring information will help identify problem catchment areas that are to be targeted for inflow infiltration rehabilitation. The information will also be used as input for future sewer design and repair programs.
