The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified engineering consultant proponents to provide proposals for engineering, contract administration, and construction management services for the RMOW’s 2020-2023 Sanitary Trunk Main and Manhole Upgrade Program. Implementation of the project is to be phased over 3 years and is expected to include:
- Approximately 2000 metres of trunk main Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) relining;
- H2S corrosion resistant relining of ~70 manholes; and
- Chemical grouting of 3 sanitary mains and 49 manholes.
It is the intention of the RMOW to provide reliable wastewater management for its residents and visitors. The project aims to extend the lifespan of the existing infrastructure through the application of trenchless rehabilitation technologies wherever possible in order to reduce costs and avoid open trench repair in the areas specified where utility conflict is likely.
