Wastewater Treatment Plant Primary Building Energy Efficiency Study

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified consultants (Proponents) to provide a
proposal to prepare an energy audit of the Whistler Wastewater Treatment Plant’s (WWTP) Primary
Building. The Primary building was originally constructed in 1998 with upgrades made in 2010 to account for high
influent flows and loads associated with peak tourism times. In an ongoing effort to reduce the RMOW’s carbon footprint and align with the municipality’s climate action goals, the RMOW is seeking a Proponent to identify and quantify opportunities to reduce energy consumption in this building.
