Whistler Olympic Plaza Mural Project

The Resort Municipality of Whistler seeks to create a large scale mural at the newly constructed washroom facility located in Whistler Olympic Plaza.

Whistler Olympic Plaza is located in the heart of Whistler Village, adjacent to the Olympic Rings. It is a state-of-the-art outdoor performance facility and community space set against one of Whistler's most dramatic backdrops.

This project is comprised of three standard concrete block walls with a combined length of 17.5meters and a height of 4.3 meters.

A selected jury will review submissions and a winner will be offered the opportunity to have their artwork displayed in one of Whistlers most frequented location. Artist teams should have some background with outdoor mural projects.

The proposals can be emailed (in PDF format) to parks@whistler.ca. We will not be accepting printed hard copies due to COVID-19.
