The land(s) that is/are the subject of the Permit is/are legally described as: PID: 008-553-688; LOT 3 BLOCK F DISTRICT LOT 4753 PLAN 13555, as shown on the map attached to this notice.
The purpose of this application is vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303, 2015 Vary the front setback from 7.6 metres to 5.6 metres for a roof and support posts, vary the front setback from 7.6 metres to 4.3 for roof eaves and vary the front setback from 7.6 metres to 5.2 for a deck.
Without the proposed variance, a roof and support posts are not permitted within 7.6 metres of a front parcel line; roof eaves can project 1 metre into a required front setback area, therefore 6.6 metres from the front parcel line; and a deck can project 1.5 metres into a required front setback area, therefore 6.1 metres from the front parcel line respectively.
Copies of the Notice of Board of Variance and supporting documentation may also be inspected at the Reception Desk of Municipal Hall at 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC, during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) until July 26, 2021.
