The land that is the subject of the Permit is legally described as: PID: 006-645-569 BLOCK C DISTRICT LOT 6969 PLAN 20306, as shown on the map attached to this notice.
The purpose of the Permit is to vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303, 2015 to allow construction on the Lands of a detached dwelling that is located 2.03 metres from the front parcel line, 2.1 metres from the (north) side parcel line and 4.22 metres from the rear parcel line.
Without the proposed variance, foundations of a detached dwelling are not permitted to be located within 7.6 metres of a front parcel line, 3 metres of a side parcel line, and 7.6 metres of a rear parcel line. The proposed variance will enable projections for roof eave overhangs located 1.29 metres from the front parcel line, 1.18 metres from the (north) side parcel line, 3.38 metres from the rear parcel line, and deck overhangs located 0.92 metres from the (north) side parcel line, all in compliance with the allowable projections into building setback areas.
