The land(s) that is/are the subject of the Permit is/are legally described as: PID: 025-544-586; Strata Lot 21 District Lot 7924 Group 1 New Westminster District Strata Plan BCS161, as shown on the map attached to this notice.
The purpose of the Permit is vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303, 2015 to allow retaining walls in a side setback to be: Up to 1.9 metres high; with a minimum distance between retaining walls of 0.23 metres; and setback 0.2 metres from the front parcel line.
Without the proposed variance, the maximum height of retaining wall in a setback area is 1.22 metres; the minimum distance between retaining walls is 1.22 metres; and the minimum setback from a parcel line that abuts a highway is 2 metres.
Copies of the Development Variance Permit, along with the permit application and supporting documentation, may be viewed electronically on the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s website at the following link: www.whistler.ca/DVP01197. Alternatively, copies of the Development Variance Permit, permit application and supporting documentation may also be inspected at the Reception Desk of Municipal Hall at 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC, during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) until May 4, 2021.
