The land that is the subject of the Permit is legally described as: PID: 028-878-019; Strata Lot 59 District Lot 7798 Group 1 New Westminster District Strata Plan LMS4695 as shown on the map attached to this notice.
The purpose of the Permit is vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303, 2015 to allow a detached dwelling to be 8.98 metres in building height and to allow a retaining wall in a setback area to be up to 3.4 metres in height.
Without the proposed variance, the maximum building height is 8.2 metres and the maximum height of retaining wall in a setback area is 1.22 metres
Copies of the Development Variance Permit, along with the permit application and supporting documentation, may be viewed electronically on the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s website at the following link: www.whistler.ca/DVP01206. Alternatively, copies of the Development Variance Permit, permit application and supporting documentation may also be inspected at the Reception Desk of Municipal Hall at 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC, during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) until May 4, 2021.
If you wish to provide comments you must do so in writing, by 4:30 p.m. on August 17, 2021.
