The land that is the subject of the Permit is legally described as: PID: 023-258-209; Strata Lot 21 District Lot 4750 Group 1 New Westminster District Strata Plan LMS2202, as shown on the map attached to this notice (the “Lands”).
The purpose of the Permit is vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303, 2015 to allow roof posts for two new covered patios on the Lands to be located 1.78 metres from the side parcel line; 1.67 metres from the rear parcel line; 1.67 metres from the boundary of the bare land strata plan; and 8.16 metres from a building on an adjoining parcel.
Without the proposed variance, the minimum permitted side setback is 6 metres; the minimum permitted rear setback is 7.6 metres; the minimum setback to the boundary of the bare land strata plan is 7.6 metres; and the minimum distance from a dwelling on an adjoining parcel is 12 metres.
Copies of the Development Variance Permit, permit application and supporting documentation are provided at the bottom of this web page and may also be inspected at the Reception Desk of Municipal Hall at 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC, during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) from October 12, 2021 until November 16, 2021.
