AWARE Whistler

Whistler Nature Camp sessions offer a unique opportunity for local and visiting youth to play, explore and create all while learning about Whistler’s unique natural backyard! Whether catching bugs, observing wildlife, building shelters, playing games or partaking in crafts, kids will have the chance to discover connections with the natural world and each other. As a day camp, programming is offered in the summer and is also available through spring break and teacher professional development days. Sign up can be for one day, or an entire break period.

Big Brother Big Sister

The Community Mentoring Program provides kids and young people with a role model to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. 

The In-School mentoring program  (Adult & Teen programs) provides children and youth with a role model and a friend to share the experiences of growing up within school grounds.

The Go Girls! program consists of ten mentoring sessions at local community centres lead by mentors aged 18-25. Each 2 hour-long session is structured around four themes: being active, food and nutrition, building self-esteem and self-confidence and developing healthy relationships.

LB Productions

At LB Productions we believe every child has their own unique gifting. We use theatre, music and personal empowerment skills to help foster their innate talent.  We offer in school, after school and specialty camp experiences for children and adults ages 5 and up in various locations throughout Canada. We also offer touring shows and programs for elementary schools and organizations. Private voice lessons also available upon request.

Whistler Gymnastics Club

Whistler Gymnastics: offers a variety of programs in the areas of gymnastics, trampoline, parkour, and acrobatics.   From recreational to national competitive programs.

Whistler Nordics Ski Club

The Whistler Nordics Ski Club is a non-profit cross country ski club formed to help make cross country skiing available to all members of the community. Offering Skills Development Programs for youth ages 5-13 Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30 to 6 p.m., Race Programs for Teens, Master’s Programs for adults,  and Thursday Night Toonie Races for Adults and Youth.

Whistler Racquet Club

The Whistler Racquet Club is the hub of tennis in Whistler and is open year round. The Tennis Academy provides a variety of indoor and outdoor programs to learn, play, compete and socialize for all ages and skill levels. The club is open and friendly, so feel free to stop by the facility and they will find a game or lesson for you. 

New for 2019/2020 school year: Game-based after school program that allows kids to try a variety of different sports and develop a variety of athletic skills. Taught by NCCP certified coaches with guest coaches from some of the local sports clubs. Snack provided each session. Coaches will pick up from the Maury Young Arts Centre bus stop or Myrtle Philip and walk the kids to the tennis club.

Whistler Sailing Club

Whistler Sailing offers learn to sail programs for children aged 5 to 18 years throughout the summer months of July and August. Lead by Sail Canada certified coaches, the itinerary covers the basics of sailing in a safe and fun environment on Alta Lake. 5 day week long camps available, in addition to multi day camps offered on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.  More information can be found online at whistlersailing.com. Whistler Skating Club

We offer Skate Canada’s: CanSkate Learn to Skate, competitive figure skating Star 1-10 program, Synchronized Skating (adults and kids), and Hockey Skills.

Whistler Sports Legacies

Whistler Sport Legacies is offering many options for children and youth of all skill levels to participate in exciting Olympic sports. Programs include sliding and Nordic sports as well as multi-sport options, varying from one-time sessions to introduce participants to new sports, over one- or multi-day camps to weekly/seasonal programs. Depending on the discipline, programs are held either at the Whistler Sliding Centre, at Whistler Olympic Park, the Whistler Athletes’ Centre or at third party locations in Whistler.

Whistler Sports Legacies offers an after school program out of Spring Creek Community School for kids in Kindergarten and Grade 1 on Mondays and Wednesdays for the 2019/2020 school year. 

Whistler Taekwondo

The class is designed to train your spirit & physical fitness. The work out can be intense or moderate: taekwondo is made up of 80% legs & 20% upper body. We focus on speed, balance, strength and power. It’s an all around sport for the whole family! 1st Class FREE!

  • Season: Classes are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. 3:00 pm to 3:40 pm  beginners, 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm advance and 4:50 pm to 5:45 pm Adults.
