This is the second round of public engagement in the Imagining Stage as we develop Whistler’s Parks Master Plan.
Timeline
Now to end of Autumn 2019
Overview
During the Imagining Stage, the program strategy and priorities for the Parks Master Plan is being developed.
Programming options are being assessed to better understand the possibility of reallocating, relocating, adding or deleting park elements. This is being completed on a park-by-park basis but in the context of the entire system.
Community engagement
First engagement opportunities: During the first portion of the Imagining phase, a series of bubble diagrams with some big ideas to spark conversation about reprogramming a number of parks were presented. These ideas were available for public review and comment at an open house on June 17 and through an online survey from June 17 to 24.
