How this project builds off the Recreation and Leisure Master Plan
The Recreation and Leisure Master Plan (RLMP) provides guiding direction for Whistler’s municipal parks, trails, lakes and rivers, and recreation programs and facilities.
Endorsed by Council in 2015, the final RLMP includes 90 recommendations with over 300 supporting actions for each of
Whistler’s parks, trails, recreation programs, and amenities.
This project builds off the following recommendation from the RLMP:
On a park-by-park basis, assess overall park use levels, needs, and functionality and identify opportunities to increase park capacity and other potential improvements in consideration of impacts to adjacent neighbourhoods.
