FireSmart Community Chipping Day

10:00 a.m.  -  4:00 p.m.

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is offering a community chipping service free of charge to remove branches and yard debris from FireSmart activities on residential properties.

Tree chippingThe community chipping service is available on a first come, first served basis, and pick-up must be arranged in advance by contacting Scott Rogers, Fire Smart Coordinator at 604-966-4173.

Only vegetation can be included, and invasive species must be removed from any brush material and disposed of separately. Learn more.

Yard waste drop-off

In addition, with the recent opening of the new Nesters Waste Depot, there is now a permanent yard waste drop-off bin for residents available seven days per week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
