About The Cold Smoke
The Cold Smoke Band has been playing to great acclaim at various venues throughout Whistler over the last year. As a relatively new project, they offer something different, focusing on a mix of Classic and Southern Blues while mixing it up with more modern Blues/Rock vibes from respected Artists such as Gary Clark Jr, Marcus King and Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram to name but a few, along with a few classics from the likes of Clapton, Hendrix and SR. Some of Lead Singer and Guitarist Pete Lalor’s writing is making it into the mix, rounding out a full live music experience.
The Trio is made up of 3 musicians with diverse musical backgrounds: Sean Clarke holding down the backbeat, the inimitable Monty Biggins on Bass with the groove, and Pete Lalor laying out the sweet vocals and searing lead lines. The band often improvises sections of their songs and gives a guarantee that you’ll never watch the same gig twice!
