The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has launched the online version of the annual Community Life Survey for residents. The survey takes 12 to 15 minutes to complete and is available at whistler.ca/survey until March 1.
The online survey follows the RMOW’s eleventh annual random phone survey of 300 permanent residents and 200 part-time residents, which was launched in January. The online survey is an opportunity for participants who did not receive a call to provide more in-depth open ended information.
The survey results are important for tracking the performance for the RMOW’s Corporate Plan and measuring performance towards community priorities. Survey results help Council and staff understand community priorities, trends and concerns, as well as feedback and insights regarding municipal plans and services.
The 2018 survey is being conducted by Forum Research Inc., a Canadian market and consumer research firm. The RMOW is committed to evidence-based, transparent governance, and the Community Life Survey is a key contribution to the corporate planning process.
