Adult sport nights resume November 2

November 2, 2021: Whistler, B.C. – The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is excited to resume bring-a-friend privileges for pass holders with 10, 20 and 30 time passes as part of a phased approach to resuming access for all visitors to Meadow Park Sports Centre (MPSC).

Effective Monday, November 1, 10, 20 and 30 time pass holders are permitted to scan in one additional guest, of equal or lesser value, during their visit to MPSC. The passholder must be present and utilizing the facility at the same time as the guest. Passes remain non-transferrable. Some restrictions apply.

  • Bring-a-friend privileges will not be permitted for advance registration of included fitness classes, drop-in hockey or court bookings.
  • Bring-a-friend privileges are not available for Club Shred, Epic and RMOW Rec Credit passes as these are employee benefit passes.

The targeted date for resuming drop-in access at Meadow Park Sports Centre is Monday, November 29. On this date, MPSC will no longer be restricted to pass holder access only, and will return to drop-in access availability for all users. The phasing of access privileges is deliberately built to be flexible and allow for the scaling of services and programs to meet changes in direction from health authorities. In this regard, the targeted date may need to be modified.

Proof of vaccination is required to access Meadow Park Sports Centre for all activities for all people aged 12+. Government issued photo ID is also required for all adults 19+. Masks continue to be required in all common areas of MPSC for all people aged 5 and older, except while engaged in physical activity.
