In response to the changing needs of the community, and in preparation for 2018 corporate planning, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is presenting a series of policy recommendations aimed at preparing Whistler for long-term success.
The Whistler Community Forum event is scheduled for Thursday, November 2 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Whistler Conference Centre. New research and strategic direction on housing, transportation and community planning will be presented. Staff and Council will be available to answer questions on policy recommendations and to collect feedback.
Mayor Nancy Wilhelm-Morden said, “The Community Forum is one of many public engagement opportunities. The Community Life Survey, public open houses, and Committees of Council are all efforts to encourage participation in local community planning. Please join me and your friends and neighbours at the forum for open conversations with members of Council and staff.”
