Whistler residents are invited to take part in the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s (RMOW) annual Community Life Survey, which launches on March 29. The survey consists of two parts:
- a random phone survey of 300 permanent and 200 part-time residents, which runs from March 29 to April 19, and
- an online survey for residents from April 24 to May 10.
New this year, residents have the option of signing up for the online survey, which will be delivered directly to their email inbox. The deadline for registering is April 19.
“I encourage you to participate if you’re called for the phone survey. It takes approximately15 minutes and your responses will help to inform municipal decision-making. This is particularly important as we plan for COVID-19 community recovery in the coming months,” said Mayor Jack Crompton.
“Alternatively, you can have your say by signing up for the online survey, which we’ll email to you. We’re excited to offer this convenient option to help ensure that we receive a wide range of responses from all demographics in the community.”
We’re bringing the survey home to you
Sign up for the online survey until April 19. The survey will be delivered to your inbox.
The 2021 survey is being conducted by Forum Research Inc., a Canadian market and consumer research firm. Survey results will be shared with the community later in the summer.
The RMOW is committed to evidence-based, transparent governance. Results from the Community Life Survey help Council and staff to track service performance and understand the community’s priorities, needs and concerns. Results will inform corporate and community planning and operations and post COVID-19 recovery strategy.
The Community Life Survey has been an important part of Whistler’s community monitoring program, since 2006. Read past survey results at whistler.ca/survey.
