Community Life Survey

The phone survey for the annual Community Life Survey has been extended to July 10 to allow additional time for data collection. The online survey will commence July 11.

The survey consists of two parts:

  • A phone survey of 300 permanent residents and 200 second homeowners; and
  • An online survey for all residents.

Conducted by Deloitte LLP, the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s (RMOW) CLS is the primary tool for measuring service performance and understanding community priorities, needs and concerns.

Phone survey

The 15-minute phone survey commenced on May 30. All calls come from the phone number 877-392-0956. Questions focus on all aspects of community life in Whistler and include some demographic questions. The RMOW or Deloitte never asks for private personal information that can be used to identify individuals, such as a SIN number.

How to receive the online CLS Survey

Residents now have until July 4 to sign up at whistler.ca/survey to receive their unique URL by email to access the CLS. You will receive an email with a link to the survey when the survey is available on July 11.

Responses are completely confidential. The online survey closes on July 31. If you responded to the CLS phone survey, you don’t need to also complete the online survey.
