I am often found on a chairlift singing “this must be just like living in paradise… and I don’t wanna go home…” My kids are unimpressed.

Whistler has the greatest natural assets in the world for mountain resorts. It is an outdoor playground like no other.

I love the peace and beauty of the mountains. I love our community, and how we have all come from somewhere else and chose Whistler to be home.

On a chairlift or at Meadow Park Sports Centre pool with my son.

It's a new day! Look forward to the possibility rather than backward to what was.

What do you love most about Whistler?
I love being part of a community where I've been for the entire time it was being built. It has been a very unique opportunity in a very special place.
Where are you most likely to be spotted on a Saturday in December?
For many years the answer would be “in an arena coaching or watching one of my kids playing hockey” now the answer is “on the hill for a few runs then meeting up with friends”.
What’s the phrase you are known for saying most often?
“Don’t worry, I think I can fix it”.

Ski. I could keep myself active in the summer without biking, but I couldn’t survive being here in the winter without skiing.

What do you love most about Whistler?
After extensive travel, I fell in love with Whistler for the majestic beauty and recreational opportunities. Once settled, I realized Whistler has an incredibly diverse and passionate community, with whom I have huge respect, and who share my values and commitment to protect as the resort matures.
Where are you most likely to be spotted on a Saturday in December?
Saturdays are catch-up and family days, and typically involve some form of outside activity.

What do you love most about Whistler?
I love that it is a small town, in a beautiful place with a connected community. It is about the most cosmopolitan little town with amenities that rival any other little town.
Where are you most likely to be spotted on a Saturday in December?
Ha ha! I'll be at Base 2 in my mountain safety uniform making sure that the ski school pick-up area is safe. Like a lot of Whistlerites, I work weekends and holidays.

Bring me a Weekend Globe! My son never remembers.
