Learn how to reduce the impact of wildfire on your property.
Whistler Fire Rescue Service and the RMOW's FireSmart Coordinator provide FREE FireSmart home assessments for single family homes and strata properties in Whistler.
A FireSmart assessment is also required for Campfire Permits which must be renewed annually.
- For single family homes, firefighters will provide you with an opportunity to learn about wildfire risk and a list of recommendations to reduce hazards on your property.
- For strata properties, the FireSmart Coordinator will provide you with a detailed report, including your property's risk rating and suggested steps to reduce the impact of fire.
