Whistler Fire Rescue Service and the RMOW's FireSmart Coordinator provide FREE FireSmart home assessments for single family homes and strata properties in Whistler.
A FireSmart assessment is also required for Campfire Permits which must be renewed annually.
- For single family homes, firefighters will provide you with an opportunity to learn about wildfire risk and a list of recommendations to reduce hazards on your property.
- For strata properties, the FireSmart Coordinator will provide you with a detailed report, including your property's risk rating and suggested steps to reduce the impact of fire.
