Removal and Deposit of Soil Permit

The RMOW regulates the removal and deposit of soil from lands within Whistler by enforcement of the Soil Removal and Deposit Bylaw No. 1332, 1998.

A Class 1 Soil Removal and Deposit permit is required if the volume of soil being removed or deposited exceeds 200 cubic metres. This can be applied for with the Soil Removal or Deposit Application.

A Class 2 Permit is required if the volume of soils being removed or deposited exceeds 25000 cubic metres.  To apply for a Class 2 Soil Removal and Deposit Permit, please contact the Engineering Department for assistance.

If you are not the registered owner of the property for which the permit is being applied for, you must submit a completed Owners Authorization Form with your application.
