The land(s) that is/are the subject of the Permit is/are legally described as: PID: 025-424-611, Strata Lot 6 District Lot 7798 Group 1 New Westminster District Strata Plan LMS4695 as shown on the map attached to this notice.
The purpose of the Permit is vary Whistler’s Zoning and Parking Bylaw 303,2015 to allow the owner of the subject land to construct a 1.1 metre high retaining wall outside the rear entrance to the property in the side setback area to 4.58 metres from the side property line.
Without the proposed variance, the maximum height of a retaining wall in a side setback area in Residential zones is 0.6 metres.
Copies of the Development Variance Permit, along with the permit application and supporting documentation, may be viewed electronically on the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s website at whistler.ca/DVP01199. Alternatively, copies of the Development Variance Permit, permit application and supporting documentation may also be inspected at the Reception Desk of Municipal Hall at 4325 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC, during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding statutory holidays) until November 17, 2020.
