Community Ski and Ride Day with Council
Community Ski and Ride Day with Council on March 15, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We are excited to announce the upcoming community ski and ride day with Council. Join us for casual conversations all while making some turns on Blackcomb Mountain.
2024 is the year of connection and we are seeking unique and authentic ways to link community members with each other and with Council.
Community engagement and connection is a sharp focus for Council. It is reflected in the RMOW’s Council priorities, and in the establishment of the new Community Engagement and Cultural Services division.
Everyone connected to Whistler has unique insights and lived experiences critical to our work at the RMOW.
These casual meet ups aim to provide facetime, outside of council meetings, to talk about the things that matter most to you. We hope to see you on the slopes on March 15.
Everyone is welcome to join, and no RSVP is required.
Grab your ski pass, your skis or board and meet Council at 10 a.m. outside of Merlin’s Bar and Grill located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The event will conclude at 1:30pm following lunch.
Want to join us later in the day? Meet us 12:30 p.m. for lunch at Glacier Creek Lodge, at the bottom of Jersey Cream and Glacier Express chairlifts.
Participants are responsible for their ski pass, equipment and lunch. It is recommended that skiers are intermediate level.
Reach out to communications@whistler.ca if you have any questions.
The upcoming Community Ski and Ride Day with Council on March 15 is our first of many unique events for community members to connect with Council. Watch for more in the events section of whistler.ca.
