
Taking part in adult co-ed sports programs
- All equipment is provided
- Open to ages 18 and older
- Non-marking indoor shoes required
- No spectators allowed
- All skill levels welcome!
Active adults can also participate in leagues and clubs for sports like slo-pitch and beach volleyball.
Seasonal recreation schedules
The adult drop-in sports programs run from October to April. Check back this fall for the schedule.
How adult sports work
- Equipment & setup – staff set up and provide equipment
- Self-managed play – participants organize teams and courts; staff do not facilitate gameplay
- Advance registration recommended:
- Walk-ins may join if space is available after registered participants check-in
- All participants must check in before entering the gym
- Participants can only access the gym at the advertised session time
- A 5-minute warning will be given before the session ends
- All participants must exit within 5 minutes of the session ending (no showers available)
- No discounts available
- Refunds:
- Given only if registration is insufficient
- Participants must be present to receive a refund unless contacted in advance
How to register
- Call 604-935-PLAY (ext. 0) to set up a MyRecreation account
- Register for each session in advance to secure a spot
- Registration opens 72 hours before each session
- NEW: Drop-in payments available at session start if space permits
- Cut-off time:
- Most sports: at session start time
- Basketball: 15 minutes before session starts
- Create your account early to avoid registration delays
Rates & booking
- $10 per session for all sports.
- Participants must book online through MyRecreation registration system.
- To access your account, call 604-935-PLAY (7529) during business hours.

Code of Conduct
The Recreation Department is committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment. Participants must adhere to the Code of Conduct, which prohibits behavior that:
- Threatens individuals or groups
- Interferes with RMOW Recreation Division operations
- Poses harm to oneself or others
Please note that there may be other posted rules of conduct at different venues or included on waivers.
Failure to comply may result in immediate removal and temporary or permanent bans from RMOW recreation facilities, programs, or services.
