On shared unceded L̓il̓wat7úl and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh territory

September 26, 2025: Whistler, B.C. – Mail is not being processed or delivered for the duration of the national Canada Post strike; this will delay the delivery of important documents, notices, and other correspondence typically sent or received by mail by/to the Resort Municipality of Whistler. 

Businesses and residents may experience delays in receiving:  

  • parking fine reminder notices, 
  • DES utility bills,
  • bylaw notice fine reminder letters, and 
  • cheque payments. 

In place of the mail, the following options are available: 

  • MyWhistler: Registering to do business online at MyWhistler gives access to view business licence renewals, apply for a business licence, view account balances, and make payments for business licences, property taxes, utilities and bylaw fines. 
  • RMOW Parking System: Drivers can register for parking permits, or pay for parking tickets, through the RMOW Parking System found at whistler.ca/parking. A reminder that vehicles can be towed for unpaid parking tickets. As reminders cannot be mailed at this time, log in to the RMOW Parking System to ensure you have no unpaid tickets attached to your account. 
  • In-person: Those who prefer to do business in person can visit Municipal Hall during office hours, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. 
  • After-hours: Alternatively, in-person drop-offs can be made through the secure mail slot located at the front entrance of Municipal Hall, available 24 hours a day. 

Payment options include the following:  

  • For property taxes and utilities, instructions for payments are available at whistler.ca/propertytaxes.  
  • Accounts receivable invoices can be paid by credit card (service fees apply) or over the phone at 604-932-5535. Alternatively, you can pay by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), cheque, or in person at the Municipal Hall with cash, credit, or debit card.
  • Bylaw fines can be paid through MyWhistler. 
  • For parking, payment is through the RMOW parking system.  
  • For business licence renewals, instructions for payments are available at whistler.ca/businesslicences
