July 31, 2025:
Vancouver Coastal Health has tested the water at Lakeside Park beach and the coliform levels have reduced enough to allow for swimming again.

July 25, 2025 advisory:
Vancouver Coastal Health has directed Lakeside Park beach to be closed due to high levels of coliform in the water. The rest of the park is open. The closure will remain until follow-up water samples confirm the water quality meets Vancouver Coastal Health standards.
