Repair work is progressing. Pipe repair activities are expected to continue into the early evening. Road restoration work is anticipated to begin Wednesday afternoon.
The intersection remains closed to vehicle traffic until further notice. Access to Lorimer Road and Myrtle Philip remains available via Blueberry Drive. Pedestrian and cyclist access through the area continues to be available via the Valley Trail.

Repairs will continue into tomorrow. Crews have successfully excavated the site, exposed the damaged infrastructure and identified the source of the leak. Isolating the high-pressure water main is required to safely complete the repairs.

A major water main break has occurred at the intersection of Lorimer Road, Nesters Road and St. Andrews Way.
Lorimer Road is closed between Highway 99 and Myrtle Philip. Drivers should expect delays and follow detour signage.
We are assessing the situation and repair crews are en route. The intersection is currently closed. A detour route is available via Blueberry Drive. The Valley Trail remains open.
